Wrapping or gift bags?

Normally I wrap (very badly) this year most gifts have been tossed in bags and that thin, rip very easily paper stuffed on the top to make them look purdy. I have sciatica remember, can’t bend.

Real of artificial tree

The thought of pine needles over the floor gives me nightmare. Fake!

When do you put up the tree?

When I have a free weekend. This year it went up on 15th I think

When I have a free weekend.

Do you like eggnog?

Don’t recall ever tasting it

Favorite gift received as a child?

Rocking horse! It was metal, it was squeaky, but it was beautiful. It was my parent’s answer to “Can I get a pony this year?”

Do you have a nativity scene?

Of course.

Worst Christmas gift you ever received?

The ugly Christmas sweater hubby bought me last year

Mail or e-mail Christmas cards?

Both, since half the people I know are computer illiterate.

Favorite Christmas movie?

I avoid them like the plague

When do you start shopping for Christmas?

I leave it until the week before and get some great bargains

Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?

Anything covered in chocolate

Clear lights or colored on the tree?

The tree came with clear lights

Favorite Christmas song?

O holy Night is my favorite carol, rocking around the Christmas tree is my favorite Christmas song.

Travel at Christmas or stay home?

I used to spend Christmas at home and the New Year in the UK - then M hit school age and the vacation isn’t long enough

Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Give me 8 hours, and I’m sure all the names would come to me

Angel on the tree top or a star?

Used to be a star only because my angel was to big. This year we moved the tree to the living room and our high ceilings allow for my gigantic angel.

Open the presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?

Morning, I’d never get the kids to bed if I did it Christmas Eve.

Most annoying thing about this time of year?

People wishing me a happy holiday instead of Merry Christmas

Do you decorate your tree in any specific theme or color?

Nope

What do you leave for Santa?

That tradition never caught on with me, I always forget.

Least favorite holiday song?

Any sad song depicting someone poor soul alone for Christmas, or little johnny is so poor Santa won’t be visiting. It’s CHRISTMAS, it’s suppose to be joyous.

Favorite ornament?

I buy one dated hallmark ornament each year. I love them all, each one has a memory attached
