We’ve had geico for about 8 years now for insurance on both the ’89 bronco and the 2003 sonata. We pay $927 every six months. Minimum coverage on the bronco since it’s so old and above average coverage on the sonata.

Hubby insists we’re paying to much. He’s one of those people who talks to lots of other people, all of which he must think are more intelligent than I.

“They say we’re paying to much” says he
“Didn’t we have this same conversation last year, and the year before” scowls I while rolling my eyes.

But I checked – - -again.

For the same coverage on both vehicles here are the quotes I got this morning.

State Farm – $1304.98
Progressive – $1393
All State – $935
NY Automobile – over $4000 (WTF!)

Figured I’d just get this down here, so when he tells me the same thing next year, I’ll do a quick search and have him read this.

I have 3 options:

Move out until they’re all better, open all the windows and freeze ‘em to death, or turn up the heat and bake ‘em.

Both kids have a cold. Although M is at that age where he’s not hanging all over me whining the littlun has taken his place. It comes in spurts; He’s either running around sneezing over everything he comes into contact with, followed by me with a can of lysol, or he’s draped all over me moaning. The poor little thing is not himself at all. Right now we’re in the middle of an energy spurt and he’s building a tower with his blocks. I can’t wait for him to conk out, as I swear I see all those germs he’s just drooled over the red block oozing their way in my direction.

I’m washing my hands raw and half way through a bottle of anti germ lotion, and taking some preventive medicine in the hope I’m not the next to fall sick.
