Ring, ring…
“Lynne, how do I connect up my new computer?”
“Hmm, that’s a difficult one. Remember when you were in Kindergarten and you played games, match the colours, match the shapes, square plug in square hole etc…?”
“Ah yea, where are you going with this?”
“Well same concept, trust me you can’t go wrong. Anything else?”
“no!”
Click.

He wasn’t there, he was sitting on the kitchen floor, trying to rip open the wrapper on an m&m ice cream, the cutlery drawer was open, and the sound of the dishwasher beginning it’s cycle. I knew buying that new fridge with the freezer drawer on the bottom was a bad idea, and I had no idea he knew how to turn on the dishwasher.
This sideshow was taken by a a resident of New Orleans. He took pictures and gives a written account, before Katrina hit and continued to take photos until he to had to leave the city.
