Sometimes I can’t resist

A conversation between my son and I while driving home.

“Don’t forget I have your ps2 in my bag”

“You mean my psp”

“Yes that’s what I said”

“No you didn’t, you said ps2″

“That’s what I meant”

“What, the ps2?”

“No, the psp”

“You don’t know what you’re talking about”

“Yes I do, I just like getting you all flustered when you’re sat there quietly minding your own business”

“You’re messed up”

“My job as a parent accomplished.” :)

Then and Now

Remember this photo I took when we were on vacation in 2001? It’s Matthew with some of the other kids who live on the street whom he made friends with.
As you can see, the girls in the second photo are more ladylike and girlie. No longer were they willing to spend hours in the street with M playing soccer. They prefered just ‘hanging out’ on the corner.

This is what they all looked like in June this year. Grew up a lot didn’t they. One of his friends moved away so there’s only 5 of them.

Butterfly theme

Nothing like what I started out with. It’s based on Gemini template by Root — Design by Moshu — Photo by Boris Sidis. I changed the theme name to butterfly since the main focus of the photo is a butterfly, and the reason I wanted a new theme.

Just need to figure out how to center that nav. bar under the graphic and it’ll be set.

Feeling weird

I’ve been feeling weird lately. I had a couple of drinks at the family get-together on Saturday and woke up Sunday morning slightly hungover, at least I thought it was a hangover until I woke up feeling the same way on Monday, Tuesday and again this morning.

It’s not a normal headache, it’s more like a dull ache, just like a hangover. My head feels cloudy my eyes heavy and my taste buds aren’t working the way they should, I’m not enjoying any food I eat; I don’t feel myself. Oh and tired, I’m feeling tired all the time.

No other symptoms, just the constant feeling of having drunk to much the night before. It’s just weird.
