Meet Jumbah

jumbah/leftRemember Pooh bah? Well this is one of them. Press his hand, or his feet, he roles his head, bobs up and down, and it plays really loud music.

Jumbah lasted 2 hours and 22 minutes after taking him out of the box. So enthralled was Conor with this fuzzy thing he squeezed it to death. The button on the hand no longer works, neither does the button on his foot and the music no longer plays. All Jumbah does is roll his head…back and forth, around and around, all the time, and makes this incessant whining noise as his head rolls.

To make matters worse, there was no volume control on Jumbah (not that it matters now that he’s broken) but there wasn’t an on/off switch either.
As a result, I spent 30 minutes trying to find a screwdriver small enough to fit into the tiniest of screws residing on the bottom of his foot, so I could remove the batteries and put the thing out of it’s misery.

We’re left with another useless, overpriced, stuffed toy.

my kids set off the entire display of squeezable poo-bahs in the local Costco recently… i think we made security pop a pill.

Now we’re only allowed in the store if escorted by someone responsible. And possibly, deaf.

Good grief – a studded, rolling head? Maybe it’s me, but it looks like a … well, like the sort of thing you’d use to … umm … no, I can’t write that here

For a minute there, I thought you were describing me on some of my tougher mornings. Head rolling around, incessant whining . . .
