Started my laptop last night and was informed FFx updated successfully. Thing is, I didn’t update FFx, don’t remember it asking to be updated.
The successful update trashed my bookmarks and rendered several extensions useless, including my beloved spell checker. Bah!
UPDATE 1 – Well hell, now my desktop just informed me FFx has successfully updated but requires a restart. Best I back up shit before restarting this baby.
As an after thought - I can back up my wordpress data base with one click and have it sent to my email address, it’s so easy, I do it once a week. With all the problems people have with FFx, why isn’t there a one click backup of all essentials files/folders/profiles? Or is there?

UPDATE 3 - I’m an ass. After installing the ‘one click backup’ I did the usual (without thinking) FFx restart for the extension to take effect but forgot my previous statement of ‘Best I back up shit before restarting this baby’ – hahahah, I’m an ass – FFx updated before I had a chance to backup. Did I mention I’m an ass? Be afraid, be very afraid, I teach your children…
