I see priorities are in order.

There’s a no fly zone around Disney World, but not around Indian Point Nuclear Plant here in NY State.

I sent off a brief e-mail, and got this reply:

Lynne,

There is no need for a “no fly zone”.

I beg to differ.

The Department of Homeland Security knows the critical structures at Indian Point are robust and well protected.

That’s what we thought about the twin towers and they fell – remember.

In addition, with the help of the Department of Defense, DHS
maintains powerful security resources to provide an additional layer of
protection. These resources include military air cover and aircraft
interdiction. In addition, the National Guard and the U.S. Coast Guard
patrol the waters in, around and near Indian Point.

Hope that helps,

Jim

Not really unless the Coast guard have surface to air missiles within easy reach. As for the military air cover – we all know how inefficient they were in 2001. Inefficient because the information they required to do their job effectively was given to them to late.
