Gm Overcharged

General Motors agreed to settle a major class action discrimination suit yesterday that alleged it overcharged black customers nationwide, including 432 who bought their cars in New York.

… and on average, women get charged more when buying a car than men. Then there’s the less assertive guy who’ll get charged more then the ‘car buying’ savvy guy. Car salesmen can spot a pushover a mile away.

JHC, if you buy a car with an interest rate of 33% then it’s your own dumb ass fault, and if you didn’t know what you were signing, then you shouldn’t be out in the big bad world buying a car in the first place.

Lots of Geeky Stuff

I love Cyberguys . It’s filled with gadgets you didn’t know you needed until you saw them. Stuff you didn’t know existed until you were browsing the pages of the catalogue and your eyes popped open when you saw the perfect solution to a problem you were having.

Take Tess for example, she obviously isn’t aware that this nifty little gadget is available.

And this I’ve been using for ages, to help me switch easily between speakers and headphones.

Must stop browsing now, or I’m sure to find something that I can’t live without — like this Cuddly teddy bear with the surveillance camera in his eye…

Driving

I had to go to the Mall today, and since I hate driving (on account I’m perfect and everyone else sucks) around here I asked hubby to take me. NY drivers are the worst. The words yield and merge get lost in space. By the time I get to where I’m going I’m so stressed out, a chewing sales person talking on the phone while serving me can send me into a rage.

Half way to the Mall it occurs to me – Hubby is from NY and his driving sucks to. He drives with two fingers on the steering wheel which results in a really jerky drive, instead of pulling into the fast lane when he sees a slower car in front, he waits till he’s a few feet away , breaks and curses the other driver for going to slow. By the time we get to the Mall, I’m ready to throttle him.

I either need a permanent chauffeur or a weeks notice when people in this household need ‘stuff’ so I can order online.

Hot Link Protection

I’ve enabled hot link protection on my site since quite a few bone- heads have decided to link to photos and other graphics on my site, stealing my precious bandwidth.

However it hiccups a lot, but corrects itself after a few page refreshes.
Still, shouldn’t be happening at all, all photos on this site should display properly.

Anyone else seen this phenomenon while visiting? I really don’t want visitors to my site being told they’re ass holes
